SDR Lead
Your mission
As this is the first SDR role, we require you to also:
- Create the first processes - Build the processes for the SDR function in order to deliver a robust pipeline of SQL’s from a variety of inbound and outbound channels.
- Set up how we measure SDR success - Develop all of the OKRs, targets, operational metrics and reporting for the SDR function. Ensure week-over-week performance is visibility across related teams.
- Define SDR responsibilities - Define the exact split of responsibilities between marketing, SDRs and BDRs. Decide, for instance, whether SDRs or BDRs will do the first call.
- Choose the SDR tech stack - Test and ultimately choose a sales automation platform, if appropriate
Your main responsibilities
The main responsibility for this role is to generate a robust pipeline of Sales Qualified Leads to feed into our Business Development team. This requires:
- Research potential outbound customers - identify companies most likely to need and be open to discussing Salv’s solutions. Figure out the best people to engage.
- Inbound sales prospecting - Nurture leads who have shown interest in Salv (from web, events, linkedin, etc).
- Outbound sales prospecting - Reach out to potential customers via social media, email and phone who you’ve identified in your research.
- Discover and qualify - Conduct effective discovery and qualification conversations, via phone or email. Diligently chase prospects until they turn into a SQL or are disqualified. Maintain accurate information in the CRM for efficient handovers.
- Develop and test strategies - test new ways of reaching out, new messages, new cadences. Measure success quantitatively and iterate.
- Rapidly build expertise - of the AML industry, Salv’s competitors, Salv’s unique value proposition and ideal customer.

- Demonstrated ability to analyse processes and materially improve and quantify improvements
- Proven history of systematically exploring opportunities and exceeding ambitious targets
- Ability to set up robust measurement for an SDR function that’s understandable to everyone. Well organised to keep making rapid progress and marketing/sales fully informed
Self-starter
- Proven ability to prioritise among many urgent and important tasks. Knows how to say ‘no’, how to ask for help and how to delegate.
- Take initiative to solve problems within your role/team or in adjacent teams to maximise Salv’s overall success.
- Ability to help and get help from others and largely resolve your own challenges.
Excellent communicator
- Can quickly understand prospects needs and identify if there are opportunities for Salv’s solutions
- Excellent at written and spoken English and comfortable working in social media, email and phones
- Connect with prospects at all levels in the organisation
- Stellar cross-team communicator as you will need to regularly interface with sales, marketing, and many other teams
In a magical world, a bunch of these things would be true of you have:
- Experience in SaaS sales, and in particular to the financial sector
- Curious about the AML and fintech/banking industry to regularly learn more
- Have experience using pipedrive, Linkedin Sales Navigator, sales outreach tools
Location:
Based in Estonia: Your colleagues are based in Tallinn and Tartu, Estonia. All of the work can be done remotely, but you’ll need to be able to come and meet us in our office sometimes.
