In 2021, Salv Bridge was adopted by the majority of the Estonian banking community. The groundwork laid by the FFIS and the FATF led to legislative and regulatory developments that will enable information sharing across all EU member states – as early as 2024. We see that information sharing becomes not only reasonable but a necessity.

In this white paper we will offer an overview of Salv Bridge – Europe’s first cross-border fincrime intelligence sharing initiative – and our vision for the next evolutions in intelligence sharing.

  • The success story of Salv Bridge in Estonia.
  • Key legal, technical and business outcomes of the initative.
  • How inter-institutional AML tactical data exchange is legally, operationally and technically possible.
  • The future: Salv Bridge’s expansion outside traditional banks, and new functionalities.
