Objective
As the Senior Sales Executive, your objective will be to rapidly drive the revenue growth in the UK market. You will have the independence to execute the go-to-market strategy, identify prospects, convert them to leads and to clients based on our strategic objectives. The role requires senior-level sales experience to small and medium size, preferably to financially regulated companies, and a deep understanding of the regulatory /AML/FinCrime landscape and current practices in Financial Institutions.
Your role
- Gather prospects and convert them to qualified leads: build awareness and generate business opportunities. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your market knowledge and network. Drive lead generation and conversion to support revenue growth.
- (Up)selling of Platform product: Drive the (up)selling of Salv’s Platform product to existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and align the product offerings to address their requirements. Lead commercial and contracting discussions during contract renewals. Act as a trusted advisor in discussing Compliance, AML, Sanctions, KYC, Fraud, and Open Banking solutions.
- Use physical and virtual events as your tools: Be the representative of Salv at relevant industry events, conferences, and seminars. Showcase Salv’s capabilities, build connections, and create opportunities for business growth.
- Enterprise sales strategy: Execute an enterprise sales strategy for the UK market. Identify target accounts, define sales tactics, and create a roadmap for revenue growth. Drive the sales process from prospecting to deal closure. For that, work closely together with marketing, product, senior leadership teams, in order to ensure their relevant engagement in the sales process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven success in selling smb deals, preferably in the SaaS industry to Financial Institutions.
- Strong market knowledge of Compliance/AML/FinCrime in Financial Institutions. Able to confidently discuss Compliance, AML, Sanctions, KYC, Fraud.
- Knowledgeable in sanctions / PEP screening, transaction monitoring.Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a senior account executive role.
- Capable & consistent in building new pipeline independently.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy.
- Self-motivated, independent, and able to work effectively in a remote and autonomous environment.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Existing network and contacts within the Financial Institutions sector in the UK is a plus.
Success metrics
The success will be measured by the market revenue growth achieved in the UK market. Annual quota is 1M£. Depending on the type of the deal, the commission is 5-20% of net-ARR.
